Finlandia Open is the most prestigious annual table tennis competition in Finland. The competition is aimed for international level table tennis players across Europe. In 2024, we had over 160 players from 27 ETTU associations. The tournament is held in Kisakallio Sports Institute, Lohja.
Finlandia Open is the perfect tournament for up-and-coming players who want to play many international matches in one tournament. U21 tournament (players born 2004 and later) is played on Thursday (finals on Friday) and the actual Finlandia Open from Friday to Sunday.
The PKO system in use for Men’s and Women’s Singles guarantees approximately six singles matches for each player. All the players will play from Friday morning until Saturday evening. Top8 will continue for Sunday.
In Kisakallio Sports Institute everything is near. It’s just a few hundred meters walk from the accommodation to the competition venue.
Finnish Table Tennis Association welcomes all players to Kisakallio!

Coach feedback
We visited Finlandia Open because the tournament mode is very interesting. Every player has a lot of matches and they can develop even during the tournament.
Everything is well organized and in one place. Sports hall, hotel, food…
We will be here every year!

This is a tournament that offers many possible matches at a competitive level – especially for young senior players! This is the best thing about the tournament, that it offers a very good product at an affordable price for players who are working hard to take the next step.
The conditions for both playing and living are good, with access to a very nice fitness facility and many meals to choose from in the restaurant.
All in all, a competition I would very much recommend for all players looking to play a lot of matches and who want to invest in their careers.
